The DDM Kids – The race for the very little ones

The Trail des Dents du Midi is an event for the whole family, where all generations are welcome as supporters and participants alike. While the adults are running their event, we encourage younger competitors to cut their teeth on their very own race – the DDM Kids.

This 0.9km race is reserved for children ages 4 to 10. It traverses Champéry village in a loop with departure and arrival at the same place, under the imposing arch of the legendary Trail, just like the grown-ups!

The race starts from under the striking arch just like the main event of the day, in the Rue du Village of Champéry, between the Municipal building and the Hôtel National.

The first 100m follow Champéry’s picturesque Rue du Village downhill in the direction of Monthey.

The course then turns left just past the school building and the Broisin parking area to climb a slope of approximately 120 metres to the Chemin de Damonvelle.

Turn left and follow this road for 360 metres. When the road splits in two, take the left branch.

After 10m, the route crosses a footpath to reach another 150 metre section of residential road, the Chemin des Crevis.

At the Restaurant l’Alta, turn left and run down the village street another 200 metres to the finish line.
